Players are taking their seats and the cards are about to be in the air for Day 1B of the Big Stax 500. We will see who returns from yesterday, as well as who the new faces in the field are. If there is one things that Day 1A showed us, it's how one level in a tournament...well even a few hands can change the landscape of the event.
The tournament floor had directed the players how many hands were left in the night, and we had a certain few players who looked poised to be on the top. Once the chips were bagged though, some of those names had dropped while others assumed their position. It was likely going to be Arash Shirani (Germantown, MD) who bagged the lead, but it wasn't before he added 280,000 to his stack in the final handful of hands (he bagged 710,000). That's the number to chase for players today, and we will keep you updated all day on the action.
