Palermo Scoops The Pot |
We walked over to Table 68, as Matt Glantz was all-in for about 38,000. The players in seat one had flatted the all-in, and Leonardo Palermo had over 100,000 in front of him. The player in seat was tanking, but eventually folded his hand. The cards were tabled and it was the A K of Palermo against the K 8 of Glantz. The flop came out ace high (backdoor running diamond draw for Glantz), but it wouldn't be the night for Matt, who said that he'd be saving his next bullet for tomorrow.
Leonardo has now chipped up to over 240,000.
