| Sam Taylor Contemplates The River Bet |
There was sure to be action at Table 70 with that lineup, and we happened to be at the table for a pot between Sam Taylor and Joseph McKeehen. Taylor opened the pot for 3,500 from middle position, and was called by McKeehen on the button and the big blind. The flop ran out 4 6 7 and Taylor fired out 6,500 after the big blind had checked. McKeehen flatted and the big blind folded behind. After the A hit the turn, Taylor slowed down with a check, but called Joseph's 9,500 bet. The J came on the river and Taylor checked once more. McKeehen put out a 20,000 bet and Taylor went into the tank, but eventually made the call. Joseph turned over 6 6 (flopped set), and would take down the pot and chip up to 180,000.
